Job Title: Surface Mount Electronic Component Machine Operator

Status:  Non-exempt

No supervisory responsibilities.

Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for the operation of the surface mount electronic component machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sets up, calibrates, programs, loads, verifies and operates all related equipment pertaining to the SMT functions per work instructions, manufacturer guidelines and IPC standards
  • Inspects and verifies components applied to printed circuit boards
  • Operate SMT advanced placement machines
  • Change out feeders and replenish components according to work instructions
  • Troubleshoot and correct problems
  • Effectively communicate with other SMT operators on a daily basis

Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail,  able to work successfully in a fast paced,/high energy environment

Job Title: Quality Inspector

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

No supervisory responsibilities.

Summary:

Perform visual, mechanical and electrical inspection of parts, sub-assemblies, printed circuit boards, completed assemblies, production processes, final inspections and acceptance tests on internally and externally manufactured items. Perform in-process inspections during the assembly process as specified in a record of assembly. Participate in the establishment of in-process, final quality control and inspection criteria methods for acceptance for the final product. Evaluate drawings for correctness and feasibility of manufacture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary job duty – Perform electrical cable and harness assemblies inspection
  • Perform inspections of electromechanical assemblies
  • Capability to pass a baseline inspection assessment and attain IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification for assessment of electronic/electrical product to the workmanship standards
  • Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspection of electrical and mechanical components, sub assemblies, completed assemblies, printed circuit boards, cables, production processes, final inspections and acceptance tests on internally and externally manufactured items.
  • Work from drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering orders, specifications, records of assembly, work orders, and other written or verbal instructions
  • Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges for mechanical measurements. Uses Hi-Pot tester, multi-meter, continuity tester, and microscope during electronic measurements and verification
  • Initiate and/or complete necessary quality records, test data, computer entries, and other inspection documentation required to document acceptance or rejection of material
  • Interface with production when required
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Relevant computer skills
  • Knowledge of quality systems
  • Previous electronics inspection experience
  • 1 plus year of technical training obtained through a vocational technical school, military, accredited educational institution or equivalent combination of education and experience (consisting of 2 years minimum industry experience) a plus.
  • 2 years electromechanical quality inspection experience mandatory.

Job Title: Material Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

No supervisory responsibilities.

Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for production material receipt, storage, handling and tracking.  Also responsible for all CRI purchase order receipt and verification.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains material, consumables and services receiving, warehousing, distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Complies with Industry Standards regarding material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new best practices as well as customer requirement; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Safeguards stockroom and finished goods operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
  • Maintains physical condition of stockroom by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Completes stockroom operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains stockroom and shipping staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains stockroom and shipping staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

No supervisory responsibilities.

Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for NPI (New Product Introduction) and all related activities applicable to the electronic assembly industry.  Included in above is planning, directing and implementing activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of electrical/mechanical designs and material selections for electrical/mechanical processes and products by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
  • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. .
  • Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
  • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures; requesting special service.
  • Maintains product and process data base by writing computer programs; entering data.
  • Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
