Job Title: Purchasing Agent

FLSA Status:   Non Exempt

Description:

Coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services such as electro/mechanical materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, for organization as well as many other duties. These duties include reviewing requisitions, selecting products for purchased based on customer supplied Approved Vendor List (criteria including best pricing and availability), conferring with vendors to obtain product/service information, estimating values based on knowledge of market price, determining methods of procurement such as direct purchase or bid, preparing purchase orders and bid requests, reviewing bid proposals and negotiating contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority, maintaining neat and orderly procurement records (such as items/services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality/performance and inventories), discussing defective/unacceptable goods with inspection and quality control personnel, users, vendors and others to determine the source of the problem and to take corrective action, approving invoices for payment and expediting delivery of goods to users.

  • Education/experience: BA or BS degree preferred, all majors considered, accounting or business preferred; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Will train candidate with similar back ground skills who have excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, excellent math skills. Candidate must be well-organized and able to work under deadlines.  Experience with or knowledge of electronic components procurement a plus.
  • Language ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Math ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Computer skills: Must have excel, MS word, Internet software, E-mail, order processing and inventory skills.

Job Title: Surface Mount Electronic Component Machine Operator

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Description:

Requires an individual with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must have BGA rework capabilities (Ball Grid Array), and must be able to work successfully in a fast paced, high energy environment.

Sets up, calibrates, programs, loads, verifies and operates all related equipment pertaining to the SMT functions per work instructions, manufacture’s guidelines and IPC standards. Inspects and verifies components applied to printed circuit boards. Operates SMT advanced placement machines; changes feeders and replenish components according to work instructions; troubleshoots and corrects problems; effectively communicates with other SMT operators on a daily basis.

Job Title: Program manager

Reports to: President

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Job Description: 

The Program Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of all day-to-day activities regarding new and existing customer quotation requests and new and existing customer Purchase orders. To accomplish this, the Program Manager has a variety of responsibilities. They must schedule resources to meet time line requirements for quotation and finished assembly delivery, furnish up to date status of quotations and assembly progress, identify and analyze potential business opportunities, analyze required services for each engagement, ensure that the scope of the program and expectations are clearly defined, develop business models, work with business partners to define key business requirements for new application and program initiatives, perform program cost analysis based on requirements for management approval, develop project plans for program implementations coordinating all internal and external resources as required, act as primary contact with business partners on assigned projects, organize and manage multiple projects (adhering to project budgets and schedules), manage customer and vendor resources and track project deliveries, provide project status reports which include open issues, budget, resources and schedule details, participate as required in presentations and discussions with customers, and maintain a thorough understanding of C.R. International products, processes and customer needs.
